Cascara is the dried husks of coffee cherries. When steeped in hot water it produces a beverage similar to tea. It is naturally sweet and has about the same amount of caffeine as a black tea. We love it both hot and iced! This particular cascara comes from the Gesha varietal grown on Finca El Puente in Marcala, Honduras. Producers Marysabel Cabellero and Moises Herrara are well-known for their experimental processing and award winning coffees.
