The 2009 Honduran Cup of Excellence Champion, Bertilio Reyes Portillo, understands what it takes to grow amazing coffee. We have had an exclusive relationship with him since 2011. Our owner, Bob Garver, has visited his farm almost every year since. Both Bob and Bertilio put two things at the top of their coffee goals- quality and consistency. This makes them ideal partners. Bertilio continues to experiment each year searching for the best varietals, harvesting methods and drying techniques for his farm. Meanwhile, back here in Maine we look forward to his coffee each year and can’t wait to see what else he has up his sleeve. He is constantly tweaking and improving everything and we are honored to have the chance to roast this coffee and share it with you.
